Next Board Meeting:

The Board of Accountancy will hold its next regular Board meeting Friday, January 30, 2015 beginning at 9:00 AM. The meeting will be held in the SeaTac area, with the exact location to be determined.

The purpose of the Board meeting is for the Board to conduct its business. However, to encourage citizen input, the Board's agenda specifically provides an opportunity for the public to give input directly to the Board.

Change to Evaluation Services:

In an effort to offer “one-stop service” to our applicants for examination or licensure, the Washington State Board of Accountancy approved a recommendation to limit Board recognized evaluation services to only one provider.

Effective October 1, 2014, the Board will begin accepting only education evaluation reports from NASBA International Evaluation Services (NIES).  Evaluations already in process with any of the Board’s current Recognized Evaluation Service will be considered until the close of business, October 1, 2014.

2nd Quarter 2014 CPA Exam Results

The Board is pleased to announce the Washington State candidates who successfully completed the Uniform Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam. This international exam was prepared and graded by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) located in Durham, North Carolina.

Congratulations to the following individuals
