WBOA Board Members

At it's October 2008 annual meeting the Washington State Board of Accountancy elected the Board officers for 2009. The Board elected the following officers:

• Chair - Edwin G. Jolicoeur, CPA, LeMaster & Daniels PLLC, Spokane. The Board's chair handles many procedural duties, including presiding at rules and disciplinary hearings, in addition to the tasks performed by all Board Members.
• Vice-Chair - Gerald F. Ryles, Kirkland The vice-chair presides over hearings in the chair's absence.
• Secretary - Laurie J. Tish, CPA, Moss Adams LLP, Seattle.

The Board is currently composed of eight members appointed by the Governor to serve three-year terms. The following highlights the background of the current members of the Washington State Board of Accountancy:
