"firms issuing audit reports on financial statements, performance audit reports, or examination of reports on internal controls for nonpublic enterprises must participate in a board-approved peer review program administered by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) or the Washington Society of CPAs (WSCPA).”  The Board’s Quality Assurance Review (QAR) desk review will no longer review these types of reports.
