AICPA Professional Ethics for CPA's Contact Information

To become licensed in Washington State you must complete the AICPA's Professional Ethics exam, "Professional Ethics for CPAs," with a score of 90% or better. To obtain a self-study course and the required ethics exam (included with the course), please contact:

(425) 644-8199, Monday - Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm PST or place your order online.

The WSCPA, in cooperation with the AICPA, purchases the AICPA Professional Ethics exam and provides the materials and exam for the same pricing offered by the AICPA.

Please note: When you fill out your answer sheet, you must request that the AICPA mail the notice of your ethics exam grade directly to the Washington State Board of Accountancy. It can take up to 6 weeks for the Board to receive your grade from the AICPA. The AICPA will also send you a notice of completion.

To expedite this process, once you have passed the exam, you can print out your on-line exam results from the AICPA’s website and mail it to the Board. You must provide copies of the following on-line documentation:

  • "Certificate of Completion," and
  • "Exam Results" page.

Download Transcripts on CPE Online Grading (This option is only available for candidates who completed their exams online)

  1. Go to https://cpegrading.aicpa.org/gg/
  2. Enter the email address and password registered to your CPE Online Grading account.
    Select "Forgot Password," if you have forgotten your password.
    Enter your last name and the email address registered to your CPE Online Grading account to receive your password information.
  3. Select "Download Transcripts" from the orange heading above your name. All transcripts will appear.
  4. Select "File" from the browser window of your computer.
  5. Select "Print" from the secondary box that appears.
